Sophie Venton
Sophie is a Health and Social Care First Class Graduate specialising in Disability. Sophie was part of the original Youth Advisory Group, which interviewed and established the first Children’s Commissioner role for Jersey. Sophie works closely with the Jersey Youth Service, All Matters Neurodiversity Panel and those with Disabilities.
Sophie has always aspired to improve the social, mental, and physical well-being of a person’s quality of life and strongly believes that human rights are at the centre of this. Sophie’s work ethic and community-oriented philosophy are centred on emphasising the value of not only children's rights, but also vulnerable adult's rights.
